Summary
Samba 4.x before 4.2.11, 4.3.x before 4.3.8, and 4.4.x before 4.4.2 does not verify X.509 certificates from TLS servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof LDAPS and HTTPS servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
Exploit prediction (EPSS)
2.66% probability of exploitation in the next 30 days, higher than 86% of all scored CVEs.
